Pun very intended!
I was with the doctor today. Not my diabetes-related doctor, but still. I can't believe how much that actually depends on the bloodsugar. My headaches can be caused by diabetes, my heartbeat and sight can be affected. And put my backpain on top of all this, and I will be a constant ball of pain.
That is only the beginning. EVERYTHING depends on me controlling my diabetes. If I dont have enough control it can deflect on my grades in school, my social behavior (let's just face it; we're all monsters when our bloodsugar is failing). How is it possible for one little flaw in our bodies to change that much?

The blurry vision is the worst, and then comes the shaking hands and fast heartbeat. When I'm low I get so hungry I feel I can eat all the food in the world. In classes and lectures I can't focus and I'm anxious without reason.
Look, I know it is the body's way to tell me that something is wrong, but sometimes my bloodsugar is at a perfect 5.6 mmol/L and still my body feels as if I´m in World War 3. My body is all like "OMGOMGOMGOMG FOOOOOOOOOOOOD!" and my mind says "Calm down, just wait and soon your body will understand.". Let's just say that 90% of the time I listen to my body. And that ruins the whole purpose of me working out.
Am I the only one who has it like this, or do you actually understand? How does it feel for you? leave a comment!
